It's Not Over, Not Over Yet

Long time no blog. Poor March, you have been so neglected. Alas, final year uni life has gotten the better of me. These past few weeks have been choc-a-block with deadlines, dissertation reading/planning and the dreaded French oral exam that I endured last Friday. And there sure is no rest for the wicked with yet another exam lined up in just a week's time.

I miss blogging. There, I said it. There are so many ideas swimming around inside my little head that are just waiting to be html'd into life, but my £3000 + a year degree trumps all forms of free blogging joy. I'm starting to feel quite sad that it is all going to come to an end so soon. A mere 2 and a half weeks of lectures and seminars before I shall never again have the pleasure of sitting before the doctorates who have taught me for my entire adult life. Then it is just the small matter of a 10 000 word dissertation, 2 summer exams and it is the end of the road folks and au revoir University of Kent. Receiving my invitation on Wednesday to  my graduation ceremony on the 9th July has made the end of the best 4 years of my life feel just all too real for my liking.

It's not all doom and gloom however, there are some exciting events coming up in the next couple of weeks and I hope to be able to spare an hour or two to share them with you; hopefully you'll keep paying me a little visit.

  2. i know exactly what you mean, all forms of 'free fun' has gone out of the window because i feel so guilty devoting my time to that sort of thing when i should be writing essays and my dissertation.

it's all very weird isn't it, we got the dates for our graduation not too long ago and i've felt really odd about things ever since! good luck with things melita, i'm sure you'll do great. xxx
